Project Overview
Donkey Sunrise, a motorbike club in La Unión, Colombia, approached me to help restructure their website to better reflect their brand, improve usability, and engage their growing audience. This project is ongoing, and I’ve been working closely with the owner and marketing manager to align design updates with both user needs and business goals.
Unlike my previous projects, this one started with an in-depth audit phase, giving me a clear baseline to prioritize improvements before jumping into design changes.
This project also gave me an opportunity to work more deeply with a CMS (Content Management System). I focused on setting up the backend in a way that empowers the team to easily manage future updates without needing to touch the design or structure—allowing the site to scale with them.
Goals
Improve site structure for easier navigation
Align website content and visuals with the Brand Book
Strengthen calls to action to drive engagement and sign-ups
Simplify the booking and inquiry process
Address visual consistency issues across pages

Week 3:
SEO and Ongoing Work
Currently, I’m focusing on SEO improvements by updating meta tags and monitoring site performance using tools like Google Analytics and ahrefs.com. This is a critical step to ensure the website ranks higher on search engines and reaches a wider audience.
The owner, currently in the Netherlands, has given me permission to continue working on the site while they are away. I will keep optimizing the site’s SEO and making other necessary improvements as we move forward.
